HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY

Sitepulse recognises that excellence in managing safety, employee health and wellbeing is essential to long term success and is committed to conduct its business in a manner that protects the health and safety of employees, contractors, customers, visitors, the public and any others persons involved in our operations. 

Sitepulse embracesthe principal thatzero incidents are achievable and is a key management objective and will comply with all appropriate laws and regulations related to activities carried out by the company in all areas of its business activities. 

Sitepulse will continually review aspects of its operations for the purpose of further enhancing safety and health standards and to ensure these meet or exceed any legal or regulatory requirements. All levels of management are responsible for preventing injury and illness. 

Sitepulse will: 

  • Ensure safety remains our core value and an integral part of our operations with visible leadership with clear accountability demonstrated 
  • Ensure all employees, contractors and others working on our behalf understand our expectations and their responsibility and accountability for safe performance at the workplace and encourage safe behaviour away from the workplace at all times 
  • Encourage all employees to exercise the right to stop work for all workers if they feel they are working in unsafe conditions 
  • Determine through pre‐employment checks and thereafter, monitor the fitness of employees to complete their role without undue risk to themselves or others 
  • Provide information to employees on potential hazards in the workplace, and potential exposures that may affect their health 
  • Design and maintain facilities and equipment, provide training and conduct operations in a manner that safeguards people and property 
  • Provide a working environment where our people are comfortable to speak up when any form of safety concern arises 
FITNESS FOR WORK POLICY

Sitepulse is committed to providing a safe and environmentally friendly workplace. One aspect to achieve this is to provide a framework that ensures that all personnel are fit to perform their work at all times. This includes, but is not limited to, dealing with people in the workplace who are fatigued, affected by alcohol and/or other drugs and poses a risk to themselves and others. 

Sitepulse recognises alcohol and other substance abuse may impair an employee’s ability to perform their duties properly and can have serious adverse effects on the health and safety of the individual and others as well as the reputation of the company. 

  • Sitepulse has a ‘zero tolerance’ to drugs and alcohol in the workplace 
  • Employees are not permitted to work while under the influence of drugs or alcohol 
  • No employee shall possess, distribute or consume alcohol or illicit drugs at work 

Employees in place at project sites that have an implemented regular or random drug and alcohol testing are required to participate in the projects testing program. This may include pre‐employment drug testing programs. 

If a positive drug and alcohol reading is recorded at any time, the employee will be subject to disciplinary action, including suspension and/or termination. 

An employee found to be exhibiting the effects of drugs or alcohol, or returning a positive drug or alcohol reading, or refusing to participate in testing, will be required to cease work immediately and leave the workplace. As part of our commitment to maintaining safe work practices, Sitepulse shall not allow employees to resume work until such time as they undertake testing and a negative result is obtained 

  • Employees sent home or to a medical examination must report to a Sitepulse representative the following working day or when they are no longer under the influence of drugs or alcohol to discuss the incident 
  • Employees who return a positive result or refuse testing will not be paid for this time off work (until a negative drug test is returned) and may need to utilise leave entitlements to cover this period 

Employees are responsible for carrying out their duties in a safe manner, unimpaired by drug or alcohol misuse. 

In the interest of promoting a healthy workplace, Sitepulse is able to provide our employees with confidential medical assistance to help them deal with serious personal issues relating to drugs and alcohol. 

    ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

    Sitepulse is committed to conducting all of its operations in an environmentally responsible manner. 

    Sitepulse will plan and manage its activities to minimise disturbance to the environments in which it operates. We will focus our efforts into the continuous improvement of our environmental performance throughout all operations. 

    To fulfil our objectives, Sitepulse will observe all environmental laws and regulations and use all available resources to: 

    • Identify any possible areas of environmental conflict 
    • Integrate environmental considerations into our work planning and operations 
    • Assess the potential impact of our operations on the environment in which we work Work towards improving our environmental performance and minimising our environmental footprint Rehabilitate the environment affected by our operations, where required by contract or legislation Actively promote environmental awareness amongst management, personnel and contractors 
    • Undertake appropriate reviews and evaluations of our operations, measure progress and to foster compliance with this policy 
    • Where necessary engage the services of expert external personnel to give advice on environmental matters 

    The aim of this Environmental Policy is to provide realistic and achievable guidelines for all personnel involved in Sitepulse activities. 

    QUALITY POLICY

    Sitepulse is committed to providing products and services that either meet or exceed our clients stated requirements in a safe, environmentally friendly and cost‐effective manner. 

    Our commitment to quality promotes contribution to process improvement at all levels, in all directions of the organisational structure. Each person engaged by the organisation understands, has a commitment and is responsible for achieving stated objectives. The primary objective is to maintain a high standard of quality, performed safely, on a first‐time basis. 

    In order to achieve this, Sitepulse will: 

    • Ensure management is committed to understanding, meeting or exceeding the requirements of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System 
    • Ensure that all staff participate in continuous improvement of our Quality Management System 
    • Ensure all levels of management are responsible to support and assist in or with maintaining the system so that it remains in a current, practical and fit for purpose 
    • Ensure all employees understand and comply with the policies and procedures 
    • Ensure management provide all resources necessary to achieve these objectives 

    Our goal is to continuously review and improve our systems of work, documentation and supporting tools to achieve industry best practice to fully satisfy customer and regulatory requirements.
